The Death and Return of Superman

I'm not a fan of Superman.  I quite dislike him as a character and usually sum up my feelings towards him by calling him a 'living macguffin'.  I've seen some good stories that involve him but none of them are actually centered on him (I have yet to read Red Sun though, which I keep hearing is quite good).  Every story I've seen where Superman is the focus is riddled with lazy writing and painful plot conveniences that make suspension of disbelief a trying chore.
This video takes a good look at one of the most popular of those stories.  It also has Simon Pegg, so if there wasn't a reason to watch it before, there is now.
